Absolute Future

It'll go down like an episode of Law and Order.

I just realized I titled this with a song name, so that must make me really fucking lame. But I'm not gonna lie, Breathe Carolina makes some really catchy stuff, and they write some amazing lyrics. I'd bet most people would approve. I'm in LAN Management right now, and I'm supposed to be studying for a test that we've got tomorrow. Frankly, I could care less about it, I've got a 92% in this class, and I really doubt I could slip up by the end of the quarter. Nobody in this class except for Colin Francis and a few of his friends actually know what they're doing, except they're all newfags, claiming they lost the game. But I could be wrong, they could just be trolling. Successful troll is successful if they are.

I might've just had one of the best Thursdays/Fridays/weekends of my life, not gonna lie.

Thursday, I went to Chipotle with Laurel and Mark, and Laurel got me Quiznos, because I never manage to have any money on me when I really need it. We took the bus back to the school, and hung around while we waited for the stupid god damn talent show to start. My grandparents drove up to the school to give me money, and they got a glimpse of Laurel when we both walked up to the car. I think they both approved, and they told me to bring her over for dinner sometime. After I got the money, Laurel and I went off to this place that I'm not allowed to divulge the location of, because it's our secret spot. We were sketchy as fuck going in and coming out of it, but we didn't really care. I gave her one of my speeches about what I was really feeling and such, and we sat there for a while, just talking about the most random things. What made it epic was that it was raining, and we both came back in soaking wet. We went into the show, watched a bunch of black people try to sing, and saw one of the most epic things I've ever seen. Matt Strote and his little group of friends parodied some N'Sync song, and came up with an entire routine for it. Everybody approved, even the black girls. Then I went home, got Zach's 360, and played Halo for the rest of the night, until I fell asleep.

Saturday, I woke up at around 10, and went straight to my other room to play some Halo. I think I texted Laurel at about noon, and she told me she was pissed because Anna wasn't going to get out of some track meet until like 9:30, so she had nobody to see Twilight with. I realized I didn't have anything else to do, so I decided to bear through Twilight in order to take Laurel on our first so-called "formal" date. She had bet me a while back that I wouldn't wear a tie on our first date, so I put on a dress shirt and my red tie, and apparently I actually looked nice for once. Before the movie, I took her to California Pizza Kitchen, and paid for our whole dinner, which was one little tiny Hawaiian pizza, which neither of us really ate. I chugged 3 glasses of Mountain Dew, and made a really good attempt at ignoring the Alabama/Florida game that was on the TV in order to pay attention to her. It was right before I paid, that I made the decision to get snake bites. I WILL do it. After, we went to Starbucks, and spent the money that her parents gave us on coffee. We went into Twilight, and actually watched the god damn movie. Yeah, that's right. I actually watched it. And I'm not gonna lie, it really wasn't that bad. The asian guy in the beginning reminds me of Jason Wang, he kinda had the same hair that he had when I first met him. It was interesting. Her parents drove me home, and Laurel came in to formally meet my grandparents. They invited her in, but her parents said no, so my night pretty much ended right there.

Sunday, Laurel and I had planned to watch The Notebook together, since neither of us had seen it yet, and I didn't have any money left from the night before to take her anywhere else. We spent the entire 5 hours we had in the basement, in front of her TV on that awesome couch. Since there was no Notebook, we ended up "watching" "The Day After Tomorrow" and "Live Free or Die Hard". Evan walked in on us during Die Hard, but he was cool about it and turned right around, acting like he never saw us. Thinking about it, holding Laurel on her couch for such a long time was an amazing feeling. It was like, everything in the world suddenly didn't matter. It was just me and her, nothing else. I never wanted her to move. If I wasn't getting picked up at 6, I would've fell asleep holding her. I really never thought merely holding somebody would ever feel so amazing, but it did. I didn't care about us doing anything, because I was way too happy with where I was. If this isn't love, then I don't think I'll ever know what it really is.

And then I went home and played Halo. My Xbox Live ran out at midnight, I need to go buy the card. I really want to beat Bioshock again, it's such an orgasmic game. I haven't been texting as much as I normally do, it feels really weird. These kids in the back of my class need to shut the fuck up. Fucking black people, I hate them all, but not really. I bet a black person from my school's gonna read this, and tell everyone I'm racist. I really hope that doesn't happen. I get to see Laurel in 13 minutes. I'm not hungry at all, I hate stupid ADHD meds.

I think I'm done here.
