Currently listening to: "Salt For Your Wounds" - AFI
I heard about your blog first period, and that's pretty awful that your blogs get hacked. Maybe you've got some creepy internet stalker that's guessing your account names and brute-forcing your passwords. But that'd be weird. So never mind all that shit.
All I've been doing the past few days is texting and sleeping. I've been catching up with a lot of the people I haven't talked to in a while, and now I've got the sources and friends to start "buisness" back up, once I get the money to make an initial purchase. Other than that, I usually sleep from about 4:30 to 7 every day, and then I'll tab out two or three songs on bass. I've got a billion times better at switching strings, which becomes pretty crucial for heavier music. This is what I've learned recently:
+"My Fears Have Become Phobias" (w/o faster end riff) - As Blood Runs Black
+"In Dying Days" - As Blood Runs Black
+"Serpent" - Pergamum (tabbed it out on my own)
+"Online Songs" - blink-182
+"Blackened" (w/o fast intro riffs) - Metallica
+"Ghost Opera" - Kamelot
+"What's It Feel Like To Be A Ghost/Liar (It Takes One To Know One)" - Taking Back Sunday
+"Summer Shudder/Kill Caustic" - AFI
I'm making an attempt at learning all of AFI's "decemberunderground" this week, which basically means tonight and early tomorrow afternoon, assuming Zach doesn't give me his 360. If he does, the only thing I'll be doing is Halo, to be honest. God, I have no life.
I've finally figured out how to kickflip and heelflip. Granted, I still can't do them on flat ground, but I did both off of the Post Office loading dock by the school, and both of them were really clean. When Zach and I were there the other day, a postman came out, and said "Yo, I really don't give a shit, but don't let my supervisors catch you." It's people like that, that really make your day. And he was black, too.

Long song titles ftw. I just thought about how much career progression AFI has gone through. From being a simple, cookie-cutter SoCal punk band with catchy sing-along choruses, to a Misfits-influenced horror punk band, to an alternative band that's created their own little subgenre, dubbed "coldpop" by critics. Davey Havok's truly one of the best songwriters of our generation, crafting songs that literally take weeks to completely interpret. I'd love for somebody to try and prove me wrong.
I think I'm done here. I'm hanging out with Laurel after school.
