Absolute Future

It'll go down like an episode of Law and Order.

It's 4th period, and I'm in LAN Management. Mr. Marshall teaches this class, and he's pretty much the coolest teacher I've got, besides Mr. Fleming. Today, he's not here because he's apparently got jury duty.

iPod on shuffle on my playlist, currently listening to: "Bloodwork" - 36 Crazyfists

That must suck. If I ever got jury duty, I'd just call the fucker guilty of whatever, so I could get out of there as soon as possible. Because if he ended up there in the first place, he probably did something wrong anyway. Don't care whether you killed a man, or you forgot to pay your taxes. You're gonna go to jail anyway.

I'm been Alt+Tabbing out of this window like over 9000 times from this to AIM. I really don't know why, because I already know nobody interesting is online, and there never really will be, until either Scott or Laurel get online after school. Speaking of after school, I hope I get to see Laurel today, because the 45 minutes we get for lunch really isn't enough time to be with her. I'm sure somebody reading this knows exactly what I'm talking about. Cause I miss her and such.

Jesus Christ, I sound fucking lame right now.

This class makes me giggle. Everybody in here is either smart as shit and knows everything, or is completely clueless and really could care less. The room divided itself between the stupid people and the legit awesome people. And right now, nobody's doing anything, they're all on youtube or whatever. The black people in the back are most likely dealing drugs. Maybe I should go buy from them? Possibly.

Currently listening to: "Dead End" - In Flames

I just realized how much win In Flames is. They're arguably one of the biggest metal bands in the world, and they've even got about 45 million plays on Last.FM. And because they're not extremely heavy, people that generally don't like metal can handle it, because of their melodic elements. Their drummer's alright, and their guitarists always manage to come up with original content. And their singer has dreadlocks, which immediately makes him made of win.

Oh my Godddddd, CTTS. One of the only screamo bands left in the USA, along with United Nations. They've got this really cool vocal pattern, where the lead vocalist is echoed by their bassist, who's a girl (and is actually really good). It functions sometimes as a call-and-response pattern, and since CTTS use primarily free-speech lyrics, it comes out as really intriguing. "Comes With The Fall" is one of their most melodic songs, but since they also cite grindcore as a big influence, most of their songs resemble a cross between mathcore and screamo.

Now to life.

So I logged onto facebook last night, which I generally try to avoid because of the constant shitstorm of drama I always get caught in. And my mini-feed says "Analise Amaro and Ben Blair are now in a relationship."

And I literally lol'd. Endlessly. I was still giggling to myself half an hour later.

I couldn't believe it had really come to that. Ben Blair, of all people, is going out with my fucking ex-girlfriend. I never realized that I could be THAT horrible of a boyfriend, to be one-upped by fucking Ben Blair. Somebody even mentioning his name anymore makes me sick. It makes me want to throw the closest thing to me at like over 9000 MPH towards a wall. I just really want to take a cheap shot on him, or something. He doesn't deserve someone as amazing and perfect as her. She's too good for anyone, as far as I'm concerned. I was incredibly lucky to ever have someone as amazing as her, and she changed a lot of negative things about me into positives. I can say that I wouldn't be who I am now without her. And it scares me to think about what I would've been, if I had ignored her on myspace.

But, I think I've met someone who's one-upped her. Laurel Humphress is basically the epic win. She's everything I saw in Analise, and then some. Kinda like...Analise 2.0, with bug fixes and new improved features, if you wanted a metaphor for it. And apparently, nobody ever says nice things about her, so I guess I'll start.

Laurel, you're hot, sweet, funny, sarcastic, adorable, and entertaining. Also, extremely comfy. Even with all your beautiful. I love you for who you are. So don't change. And please don't move.

So, apparently I'm going to start a hardcore band with Scott and Mark, obviously playing bass. Guess I'll need new strings before we start playing, which means I'll have to choose between the band and taking Laurel somewhere nice. Most likely, I'll go with the latter, but you never know. Hopefully, we'll be a metal-influenced hardcore band (i.e The Hope Conspiracy) instead of a punk-influenced one (i.e Bad Brains), because then we could throw some breakdowns around and watch some epic mosh pits in basements. Scott, I hope you're good at guitar, cause I've already written some shit for us, and it's rather technical.

Before I'm done here, I'm gonna type about Devon. The curly-haired blonde one. The extremely awkward one that's the ultimate third wheel. I can't tell if he's more win than Mark, but they're both pretty awesome. I've known Devon since he moved here, because the first person he was friends with was someone from my neighborhood group, who I used to chill with at lunch. I didn't talk to him for a while, but near the end of 10th grade, we found some common ground on how we both really liked Allie. Obviously, that changed, and we've both been through some rough shit, especially with relationships. But he's helped me through most of it, and even though sometimes I really hate his guts, Devon's a cool kid.

So I'm pretty much done here.
Shout-out to Devon and my sister, who apparently stalks this now.
