Absolute Future

It'll go down like an episode of Law and Order.

No sense in debating personal choices and stuff, but I raged at one thing in your counter-counter post.

And I quote:

"And you're right, i wouldn't know about being High, and really i don't care about it. It doesn't cross my mind, its not the right way to relax no matter how "good" it is. You think it's good till it kills you, so many teens die each year from smoking, alcohol and drugs. Don't talk about respect until you respect yourself. Cause your blog is straight up bullshit and standing up for your druggy ass."

ONE: Weed doesn't kill. It doesn't have any negative effect on your heath at all whatsoever. The only thing potentially harmful about it is that it's a common gateway drug. And, sure, I'd like to quit cigarettes, but it just isn't as easy as saying "Ok. I'm not gonna smoke anymore." It takes a fuckload of effort to even cut down, which I did for Ana. If I had the willpower and people willing to help, I'd definately try to quit. I know it's killing me. And as for the whole "dealing" thing, there's sooooo many people that end up dealing, most of them people you'd never suspect.

TWO: Opinions of "out-of-control" vary EXTREMELY. Even though I really really really fucking hate stereotypes, the preppy kids hate every single person out front of J-Hall. They all think YOU'RE the one's out of control. They're all "too loud, they all cut, and they're all fugly." Since the people I mostly hang out with outside of school fit in with that, I hear them say that shit all the fucking time. "Brandon, why do you hang out with jerbang kids?" "Brandon, why do you date that Laurel girl? She's loud, and weird" "Brandon, you're not like them, you should be hanging out with us. They're probably all gay, anyway." When I hear that, I stand up for that whole group. So what if they don't follow fashion trends? So what if their music has screaming in it? So what if they don't smoke or drink? It's who they choose to be, and you shouldn't diss them for it. Even though I don't like a lot of them, I still don't think they deserved to be automatically stereotyped like that. Some of them are really good, honest kids, that actually give a shit about what happens in your life instead of what party you went to last weekend.

THREE: I'm not in any way liberal. I'm pretty much the same as Cameron, we're both Libertarian. Saying you want change makes you liberal. And since I'm gonna guess that you're all for gay marriage and abortion, you're definately liberal. But that was just a guess, I'm probably wrong.

FOUR: I'm not hating you for being straight-edge. Most of my close friends would never do anything illegal, ever, and you're definately one of them. I know the risks of doing it, but they don't outweigh the fun you get out of them, in my opinion.

I got the last word in.
